Domanda: preferite gli accessori gold o silver? Con il post di oggi accontenteremo tutte, infatti ho deciso di realizzare due outfit molto simili tra loro, ma che si differenziano appunto nei dettagli.
La foto ritrae l'immenso tappeto verde smeraldo di Great Lawn a Central Park dove di solito si tengono i concerti all'aperto e sullo sfondo lo skyline dei grattacieli dell'Upper West Side (non si è capito, vero, che sono follemente innamorata di Manhattan???). Ho scelto questa foto perchè penso che questi look siano adatti per chi rimane in città d'estate, perfetti per il tempo libero, resi chic e metropolitani grazie ai bellissimi sandalini di due diverse tonalità.
Entriamo subito nel dettaglio delle due proposte. Il motivo della riga, perfetto per la stagione estiva, si ripete in entrambi gli abiti, ma con piccole differenze.
L'abito in cotone a righe verticali rosse e bianche di Oasis viene venduto insieme alla sottile cintura in ecopelle blu scuro che va a segnare il punto vita e va portata proprio come viene mostrato nella foto, cioè con la parte rimanente della stringa della cintura inserita sotto la cintura stessa; le spalline larghe sono decorate sulle spalle con due bottoncini rossi, la gonna, ampia, scende morbida appena sotto il ginocchio.
L'altro vestitino (Modcloth), che rimane leggermente sopra il ginocchio, ha sempre un motivo a righe, viola e blu, ma questa volta orizzontali ed è completato con una cintura rigida in metallo argentato decorata con un piccolo fiocco di Asos.
Passiamo quindi a descrivere i diversi accessori che completano i due outfit partendo appunto da quelli che ho scelto per entrambi gli abiti ma in colori differenti.
Sempre sul sito di ModCloth (sito molto carino, consiglio di guardare con attenzione l'ampia selezione di abiti vintage style; qualche giorno fa ne ho acquistato uno a mio parere meraviglioso e sono in trepida attesa che giunga tra le mie manine!) ho scelto i sandali e, visto che mi piacevano sia gold che silver, ho deciso di utilizzarli entrambi nei due look di oggi. Nello stile anni 50, femminili e chic, con un piccolo fiocchetto e un tacco che non supera i 5 cm, questi sandali sono perfetti abbinati a questi due abiti.
Per la proposta in rosso ho scelto un foulard in seta di Mango da indossare come fascia nei capelli, un look da diva se abbinato agli occhiali giallo limone con lente tonda Miss Selfridge.
Per la borsa un modello a tracolla di Zara, mi piaceva il particolare della chiusura triangolare a battente; la tonalità è un blu navy che riprende quella della cintura e della fantasia sul foulard. Infine un semplice braccialetto di Bershka con il dettaglio in metallo dorato e cinturini giallo canarino, lo stesso che ho proposto per l'altro outfit ma questa volta in azzurro tiffany.
Ho completato il secondo look con un paio di occhiali in plastica rossa di Camaieu, una busta grigio polvere di Bershka ed un multianello di Topshop in metalli diversi dove ogni anello ha inciso una parola: "wisdom, luck, love, belief, courage, hope, peace, free"...l'anello dell'ottimisimo!
Spero che vi siano piaciuti anche questi due look di oggi, venerdì vi proporrò un nuovo outfit low cost super chic! Ah dimenticavo...nella foto dello sfondo ci sono anch'io!

Question: do you prefer gold or silver accessories? Today's post will content all, in fact I decided to realize two outfits very like, but different in details.
Let's start from the background which I often take inspiration to create the looks.
The picture shows the Great Lawn wide green carpet in Central Park and the skyline of the Upper West Side (isn't clear i'm madly in love with Manhattan?). I chose this picture because I think these looks are suitable for those who staying in the city during the summer season, they're perfect for free time and make special thanks to the metropolitan and chic style sandals in two different shades.
Now i'm going to describe the details of the two outfits. Both the dresses have a striped pattern but there are a few differences.
The cotton dress with vertical red and white stripes (Oasis) is sold together with the thin dark blue leather belt that goes to mark the waistline and it must be worn as shown in the picture. This all over striped dress is sleeveless in style and has button fastening detail to the shoulders; the wide skirt falls smooth just below the knee.
The other dress (Modcloth), which remains slightly above the knee, always has a striped pattern, purple and blue stripes, but this time are horizontal; I completed the dress with a silver belt, decorated with a small bow (Asos).
Now I describe the various accessories just starting from those I chose for both dresses but in different colors.
On ModCloth site (it's a very nice site, I suggest you to check the wide selection of vintage style dresses; a few days ago I bought a wonderful model and i'm looking forward to see it!), I chose a pair of sandals, and since I liked the silver model but also the gold one, I decided to use them in both looks. These two pair of sandals in 50's style, are feminine and chic and they are perfect match with these two dresses.
For this outfit I chose a red silk scarf wearing as headband (Mango) match with a pair of sunglasses with big and round lenses so that we can realize a diva's look! (Miss Selfridge).
Then I suggest shoulder bag (Zara), in navy colour that remind the colour of the belt and the scarf pattern.
Finally, a multi bracelet (Bershka) with metal detail, yellow coloured, that I suggest also for the other outfits but this time in tiffany-blue coloured.
I completed the second look with a pair of red plastic sunglasses (Camieu), a grey bag (Bershka) and a multirings (Topshop) in different metals, where each ring has a word written on it: "wisdom, luck, love, belief, courage, hope, peace, free "
I hope you liked these two outfits, on friday I will realize a new super chic look always low cost! Oh I forgot ... It's me in the pic!
